Web UI/Full Stack Developer (.NET)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated developer to join a start-up with a presence in Toronto. To begin with, the role will be fully remote with potential to move partially office-based in the future. We are a statistical consultancy working in the sports betting industry. You will be required to work on a range of proprietary trading and analysis tools using mainly the latest Microsoft technologies (.NET5) with a focus on (but not limited to) the Web UI. Most of our technology is starting from a blank sheet of paper so there is opportunity to play an important role in driving our tech decisions forward.
Essential
- Interest in sports or sports betting (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, or Soccer)
- Secure Single Page Applications using either React, Angular or Blazor
- SignalR/WebSockets from an ASP.NET environment
- Solid C# within Visual Studio
- General Web development (Html, Forms, CSS etc.)
- Windows Server operating systems, IIS
- Exposure to SQL databases, preferably SQLSever, ability to write basic queries
Beneficial
- Understanding of betting exchanges, bookmakers and odds
- Azure DevOps, Git
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Message brokers such as RabbitMQ
- Cloud hosting, preferably in Azure
